Let the Purple Rain fall...

I'm playing with picasa 3 again. So I made this with the intention of making it look nicer than it turned out but, here it is anyway. The reason DJ Pon-3 is there is because I was inspired by a tweet I saw on twitter of a fanart featuring DJ PON-3 that was also a memorial to Prince.

Anyway, when I was a kid in the 90s, I remember hearing Prince's songs on the radio stations. Probably the ones I most remember are "Little Red Corvette", "1999", "Kiss" and "Raspberry Beret" (makes sense I'm nearly 27 after all and I would only know a few of these songs.) Plus, while I was growing up, Prince was going through some legal issues involving the rights to his music. That's why he changed is name to that symbol he would use on his album art in later albums. It's so unfortunate that Prince is no longer with us. It was too soon for this legend to leave this world and enter another.

Rest in Peace, Prince. Hope you're up there jamming with David Bowie, Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson.
